Excursion to the winery with tasting
We will take you to, the best winery of the island, where they produce three types of wine – white, rose and dessert sweet. On a walk through the vineyards, you will learn about the growing varieties and local viticulture. And if you find yourself here in August, you will see how the grapes are crushed traditionally- a technique that’s been used for centuries all over Greece. And what is a winery visit, without a tasting: you will enjoy locally produced wine and cheese.
In the second part of the tour, you will find the capital of Mykonos and most of its corners. Chora is a network of narrow streets, with a beauty that is snow-white and blooming, but intricate.
Excursion to the cheese factory with tasting
How is old-fashioned cheese and the world-favourite Greek yogurt made? You will learn about this at the cheese factory, the owners of which treat their business with love and are happy to talk about it.
You will see the production machines standing behind the glass and, if you are lucky, observe the process itself. We will enter the refrigerator rooms where the cheese ripens and, of course, we will have a tasting: you will taste 4 types of cheese with a glass of homemade white wine.
